Their season extends from mid-June to mid-Sept. with weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday. Their units are most appropriate for families consisting of 6 or less, with no pets. (Weekends are considered in the off- season.) ‘At the Beach Cottage Rentals’ is conveniently located at 807 & 809-Lakeshore Blvd. North, approx. 1&1/2 miles north of Sauble Beach’s main street, which offers numerous clothing boutiques, snack bars, an amusement park and Sea-Doo rentals. Drive time is approx. 4 hours north from Windsor/Detroit, and 2.5 hours northwest of the Kitchener/Toronto area, making it easily-accessible to many. Sauble has a magical quality about it boasting Hawaiian-like sunsets and safe, clear swimming water. The lake bed is sandy as well, with many shallow sand bars creating a safe environment for children. For the outdoor enthusiast, the area is famous for it’s abundance of unique wildflowers & birds, golfing, canoeing, fishing, hiking and horseback riding. Compared by an English travel writer to the beaches of the Mediterranean, Sauble Beach is cleaner, closer and an affordable place to vacation.
